Zero Hour by Lili St. Germain blog tour

The final, shocking conclusion to the
#1 bestselling Gypsy Brothers series is
NOW AVAILABLE at the following retailers:

They say a human being needs few things to exist.

A purpose,

Hope for the future,

But most of all...

Juliette Portland had all of those things. Her purpose was simple: Seduce. Deceive. Kill. Avenge. Once Dornan Ross and his sons were dead, her future was supposed to be clear. Her life was finally going to begin. And love... Against all the odds, she had the love of a boy she never thought she'd see again.

Everything should have gone according to plan. Everything should have been easy once Dornan was dead and buried.

Of course, life has a way of fucking with even the most meticulous of plans, and calling in owed debts can have the most severe consequences. Thanks to Juliette's diabolical retribution, the Il Sangue Cartel has lost it’s Kingpin, but not for long. There’s always someone in the wings, ready to step onstage and seize power. The Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club might be reeling from the deaths of their President and his six patch-wearing sons, but they’ve come back swinging.

Two deadly enemies, hundreds of bloodthirsty members, both sides eager to punish those that would try to topple them.

Two survivors, a man and a woman, forced to flee in the night.

For Juliette, vengeance is a hollow victory.

It never, ever ends.

The flames of incomplete vengeance are licking at her heels, and it’s only a matter of time before the Il Sangue cartel and the Gypsy Brothers catch her in their grip and crush her.

Unless she crushes them first.

Alicia's Review

What happens when you finally have everything you wanted? When your goals are over and your revenge is complete? When the man you wanted dead is finally gone? The monsters lurking in the shadows no longer reign the terror flooding your veins every day.
It should all be over, right?
"Your problem is, you stopped being angry. You stopped being vengeful. Where's that furious girl who killed all the people who did her wrong? Where's that girl who danced in the dark?"
The terror never leaves you. The beast stalks your mind, consuming your thoughts. Your whole purpose was revenge and now you're left with nothing but hollowness. Pain. Regret. Hurt.

The Gypsy Brothers is an amazing series. The darkness draws you in, sucks you deep and keeps you drowning in a world of pain. You want to fight and maim. You want to succeed in revenge. You want to fight.
Fight for love and hope. Happiness and peace.
"Bite me. Make me bleed. Choke me. I'm yours. I trust you."
Juliette and Jase finally have a chance at a normal life, don't they? No. Hell no. You don't get to kill people and walk away. Your revenge may be over but that doesn't stop other threats from chasing you. The time to pay for your crimes is here.
“I am safe. Dornan is dead. Jase is with me.
The second and third are true, but the first is a lie.”
Juliette and Jase are holding onto each other with a thread. They're clinging to their love, hoping it will be enough to save them. They're on the run with the cartel and the MC coming after them... they want retribution... and they're closing in.

Zero Hour is Jase and Juliette's story in the aftermath of taking out Dornan Ross and his sons. Elliott is along for the ride, along with his daughter, Kayla, and her mother, Amy. They're running for their lives with threats coming at them from all sides.

This series drew me in because of the darkness. Lili sure knows how to give us angst. I wanted them to be running with the devil on their tails, bikers almost gunning them down and the cartel coming in guns blazing... I didn't really get that. Zero Hour was another quick read in this series so I finished in one sitting. It's most definitely a page turner. I just felt like the angst was left out of this one and I've been left with questions and confusion. I was so excited when Lili announced another book in the series. But, honestly, I think I would have been okay with finishing this series at the end of One Love. Only because I still now feel like Jase and Juliette's story is incomplete. More so than I did at the end of One Love.
Is the cartel still coming? Will we get an Elliott book with more Juliette and Jase? Will Luis get his own book?... I love this man by the way! He is one special character in my eyes.
When I think of the cartel coming after you, it's with more firepower than you can outrun. It's with torture and pain. In this case the cartel was one man. There was no bikers chasing. It was more grey than dark.
BUT, that didn't take away from Jase and Juliette finding themselves again. They've each suffered more than any one person should and I think we were all hoping for their HEA. We got that so I'm content.
Jase and Juliette are both broken to some extent and Zero Hour brings that to light and helps them heal. It was a lovely read with some dark hotness added in. These characters hold a special place in my heart and always will. Lili has truly given us a series that is re-readable. I love it and highly recommend Gypsy Brothers.

I give Zero Hour 4 stars.

I don’t even stop to see what kind of furniture the room consists of. I throw Juliette on the floor and pounce on her like I’m a lion and she’s my catch.
My dick’s inside her within three seconds of the door closing, even though its dark in here, the only light from a couple of candles throwing off weak light. It could be the middle of the day and I wouldn’t have a clue, because all I can see is Juliette Portland underneath me, her legs spread and her pussy full of me. I put my hands around her neck. I want to squeeze. I want to choke her so fucking badly. Goddamn it! I stop grinding my cock into her. I just stop.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” I whisper in the dark. “Julz, the things I used to do in this place—I used to hurt people and get off on it. I don’t want to hurt you, baby.”
She reaches up and grabs hold of my face; I can just make out her eyes, her pupils almost swallowing any trace of green.
“Jase,” she breathes, “What if I want you to hurt me?”

They say the apple never falls far from the tree, and I’d say this apple never fucking fell, period. I’m the shiny apple that might’ve looked the best on the surface—different to the rest of them, full of promise that there was another way—but they broke me. They made me worse than any of them could ever be.
I hurt people. I hurt women.
I killed people.
And that’s not even the worst of it.
The first man I ever killed was John Portland, and I cried as I pulled the trigger. Yeah, I was a stupid kid and he begged me to do it, and yeah, it was a mercy killing, but it doesn’t matter. Point is, his life was the first one I took—I killed Juliette’s father, for Christ’s sake—and after I ended his life with a single bullet, delivered in the dark in a dirty basement, I didn’t stop.
I couldn’t stop.
The last person I killed was Donny, my last surviving brother, and that was eight months ago. I ripped his fucking eyeball out before I butchered him, and the one single thing that stopped me from dismembering him was knowing that Juliette was watching me. Her screams broke through my haze of red, as I took Donny’s own knife and sunk it into his flesh, again and again, so deep it hit bone more than once. I severed the tendons that made his arms work, so he was putty underneath me. I straddled my own brother and thrust upon him the vengeful punishment that they all deserved. For Julz. For my mother. For everything.
I killed him, and I haven’t killed since.
I’m hungry. My palms are itching. It’s torture.
I don’t know how long I’m going to last before I have to draw blood again.
