Capital Risk by Lana Grayson release day

Book three of The Legacy
Genre: dark romantic suspense.

A legacy of revenge…

Dishonored. Avenged. Unbroken.

I never understood my family’s desire for vengeance. The feud between the Atwoods and Bennetts existed for years. I thought we could end it.

I was wrong.

The only way to save my family, my company, and my farm is through blood.

The only way to protect my child is in war.

Darius Bennett will die for the sins he’s committed.

And his sons will forever regret challenging me.

Betrayed. Possessed. Dangerous.

My father taught me that power and family were the most important aspects of our life.

He was wrong. Nothing is more important than vengeance.

The only way to save my family, my company, and the woman I love is by embracing the same ruthlessness that corrupted my father.

The only way to protect the child is by ending this feud and taking what is mine.

I will have Sarah Atwood…not because she belongs to me, but because I cannot exist without her.

My review

Wowsers. This series ended with a bang. A huge bang!!!
It lead up to everything I've been waiting for and not once was I disappointed. Lana Grayson pulled off such a dark storyline so bloody well. She has had me hooked through every word, line, page... I just haven't been able to not get lost in this dark world.

The characters bond grows and so did my love for the three brothers. As wrong as it is it's impossible not to love them. Impossible not to want them to get the HEA.

The sex scenes are off the charts. One in particular, which happened to be my favourite in this whole series, is in Capital Risk. They all come together in a passionate mingles on limbs, and we get the full love of Sarah and her step brothers.

Everything about this series has drew me in. Everything about it has been perfectly written to make it one outstanding series. This is a 6 star series for me, without a doubt.

Amazing reads and highly recommended!!

Other Books in this Series

Book one

A reckless sacrifice to protect a family legacy...

Kidnapped. Imprisoned. Ravished.

When tragedy stole my family, my father’s will mandated my future. I didn’t inherit Atwood Industries. I became the only one capable of protecting it.

Atwood Industries belongs only to a male heir, my heir. And my enemies—my own step-brothers—will stop at nothing to create a shared bloodline.

But they’ve made a mistake, and they’ll forever regret trying to control me.

Damned. Destroyed. Enthralled.

My family’s livelihood depended on acquiring the rival Atwood Industries and seizing the innocent woman bound within its terms of succession.

I never expected such a challenge from my step-sister.
I never thought I’d betray my own blood to protect her from the nightmare we began.

But if I don’t stop her, the woman I’m forbidden to love will be responsible for tearing apart the empire my family spent generations building.

My Review:

WOW. This book... just wow. It's everything I shouldn't want but admittedly love!

Step-brother... check... times three!!!
Evil step-dad... check!!
Darkness... check.
Hotness... check.
Strong female lead... check.
Bad asses that turn out to have a heart of gold... check.

Sarah is brilliant. She's strong. She's courageous. She's powerful. Her strength in this story is what drew me in.

Nicholas is something else entirely. But he won my heart. Actually, all three brothers did in the end.

This story took me on an emotional roller coaster. It steam rolled over me and took a piece of my heart. Lana Grayson brings dark and somehow makes it feel light. She made me crave the darkness within these characters. Made me need more of them.

Five stars for this must read.

Book two.

Submission is survival…

Trapped. Seduced. Betrayed.

Submission is the greatest revenge.

When I turn twenty-one, my family’s secret trust passes to me, and I’ll finally destroy Darius Bennett…if I survive my captivity. But vengeance comes at a cost, and Nicholas Bennett demands a male heir to ensure my safety.

I fell hard for my step-brother, but loving the man is easier than trusting a Bennett.

Hiding our relationship will protect us, but what will happen if the lies twist and the truth is revealed?

I have to save myself, because I don’t know if anyone else will.

Devoted. Consumed. Lost.

I’m out of options, out of allies, out of time.

I want it all—my step-sister and her heir, the money and empires—and I’ll stop at nothing to ensure they’re mine.
But saving the woman I love means either betraying her secret or losing the power that is my birthright.

How do I protect my family from Sarah Atwood, and how do I keep her safe from my father?

The answer?

I can’t.

And the sacrifice will ruin us both.

My Review:

The second book in the Legacy series picks up where Takeover left off. Sarah is still trying to win the twisted game of power she's been forced into. This book brings more to the story as connections build and alliances are formed.

The unexpected bond between her and her step brothers can only strengthen. They bond in bad situations whilst protecting her as much as possible.

Darius seems to gradually become more twisted as this book goes on, but I also feel like he has true twisted loving feelings towards Sarah. Nick's and Sarah's connection blazes brightly. I felt every emotion between them.

Secrets are revealed. Plans are made. Bonking is a must.

Lana Grayson upped the ante in Controlling Interests with her powerful words and characters. My mind is blown! The sex is disturbingly off the charts.

Those damn Bennetts are addicting!

About Lana Grayson.

Lana Grayson was born to write anything and everything to do with romance. Her favorite genres range from the dark and twisty to the lighthearted and sentimental—as long as the characters are memorable, the story is fun, and the romance is steamy. Lana lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, and, when she isn’t bundled in her writing chair, she’s most likely cheering on the Steelers or searching for the ‘Burgh’s best Italian restaurants.
