Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover review.

In the follow-up to Colleen Hoover’s #1 New York Times bestseller Hopeless, the charming and irresistible Dean Holder tells the passionate story that has melted thousands of hearts.

In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs

Alicia's Review:

I was first introduced to Colleen Hoover when I saw the craze for Hopeless. I read hopeless and it turned me inside out, back to front, upside down and the set me straight.

When I heard the was going to be another book after Hopeless I was a little dubious. I was happy with where a hopeless ended and didn't think we needed Holders POV. Hahahahaha how daft can one person be? I'm such a fool for thinking I was happy enough with just Hopeless. Losing Hope is BETTER than Hopeless. It gives us so much more their story that I thought was already complete. There is twists and turns that I just didn't see coming.

They writing style that Colleen uses is just pure genius. She reaches out to her readers, grabs ahold of them and doesn't let go! I have NEVER read books that cause such book funks. They are just truly stunning. You will not be able to put any of her books down until you've finished not just the last page but the last page of the final book in that series. You WILL neglect your entire life. You will sneak read at every chance, whether that be on your break, on the toilet, whilst cooking the family a meal, whilst walking to the shop and all night long!

You will laugh with joy, humour and excitement. You will cry with heartache, sadness and pain but you will not just cry. You will ugly cry. Full body shudder sobs. Take your breath away rawness. The emotions will tear you apart. You will feel all that and so much more. When you turn that last page you will take a huge gulp of air into your lungs hold it and be speechless.

This book is truly beautiful. I couldn't get enough and still can't get enough of all of Colleen's work!

I get stoked whenever I get a message from goodreads saying I have a new friend request me, dangit!
