"Music is a Moral Law, It Give Soul to the Universe" - Plato
Sometimes it doesn't matter how long you know a person. The effect they can have on you can happen after four seconds or four years.
In Chase Taylor's case - it's both.
Avery McGuire doesn't just flip on a light inside of her - he set a blaze to everything holding her back. After only a week together he has to leave, but he strikes a match before walking away that won't easily burn out.
Four years later, Chase finds herself face to face with the boy - now rock star - who changed everything. The same one she still can't admit to falling head over heels in love with. She has no idea that her world is about to get rocked, in more ways than one.
Holy-Rockstar!! This book is beautiful. I have to admit that although the synopsis drew me in to want to read the book, it didn't pull me in enough to stop what I was reading in order to start Wild Chase. How wrong was I?!?
I wished I had started it as soon as it hit my kindle! This book is sexy. Super-hot-sexy!
It starts when Avery and Chase first met four years in the past. Avery is instantly noticeable. Like I was drawn in to him straight away. I think I swooned within 5 mins of reading him. This part of the book is so stunningly written that it's like watching a film that makes you happy-sigh.
They have this passionate week together and then Avery has to leave. Chase is left shattered but stronger than she has ever been.
Four years later and Chase is about to do a photoshoot with her best friend, Victoria. It turns out that the shoot is for Vengeful Honor, Avery's band. So much has changed for Chase that she hopes Avery doesn't recognise her. After being put into a position where there is no escape from him, Chase is noticed by him.
The twists and turns threw me. I thought it would be a simple romance but that's not the case. This book has some amazing characters. The secondary characters are just as important as Avery and Chase.
The sex scene's heat level is just perfect. Not too much but enough to heat the blood!!
I give this book 5 rockin' stars.
