About The Book

Raffaello (Rafe) Palazzo takes what he wants with no regrets. Arianna (Ari) Lynn Harlow has led a charmed life until tragedy strikes her family. He’s looking for a no-emotions attached mistress, she’s looking for redemption.

They are not a pair that should ever work, but undeniable attraction and devastating tragedies bring them together in the city by the bay where he fights to keep their relationship nothing more than an enjoyable way to meet his needs, and she battles to not lose herself in him. Spending time with Ari starts cracking the hard shell that Rafe has built around his heart, but he denies the affect she has on him until it’s too late to stop the inevitable conclusion that their relationship is headed for.

Rafe once believed in happily ever after, coming from a large Italian family. He’s got the Midas touch, since every endeavor he tries turns to gold. That all ends when his wife walks out the door and leaves him blindsided. His devastation quickly turns to steel when he decides no woman will fool him again. From that point on he treats relationships as nothing more than business transactions where both party’s come out mutually benefited.

Just when Ari has sunk to the lowest she’s ever been she finds an ad in the paper announcing a job that’s too good to be true. It turns out she’s right. She makes it through the intense rounds of interviews only to find out the job is for a mistress to the powerful Rafe Palazzo, owner of Palazzo Enterprises. Rafe gives her a day to think about whether she wants the position or not, and she’s sent on her way, only to find out her mother’s near-terminal position has taken a turn for the worse. Her mom’s only in the hospital because Ari messed up, and her mother’s the one who paid the price. Is Rafe her savior, or will he take her with him straight to the depths of hell?

Natalie's Review

Firstly you will not know how excited i was when i saw my name in the dedication's as a Thank you for helping to create Shane, Thank You so much melody,  as a fan its so amazeballs that you include us in helping to not only name a character but to actually create him,  not many authors involve their fans as much as you do. Ok back to the book, one word sums up this whole book RAFE my oh my he is so hot he had me drooling, this book is a little more sexual than Melody's other books but i LOVED it (makes me sound a randy bugger lol),  I loved the pace of the book, I loved the characters, I love how Ari gives as good as she gets and I love love love The human ball of fire that is Rafe,

I stayed up all night reading (as i usually do with Melody's books) as i couldn't put it down,  i cant wait for more of Shane and Lia's Story (oh come on we all know where that was heading)  and if melody needs a lovely young woman who can make Rafe see the error of his ways then Natalie is always ready and willing lol.

I really loved the emotions tied into this book and as with all of melody's books a strong sense of family is once again a key factor,  you can really see that this is and always will be one of melody's key points. when i pick up a melody Anne book i know from the first word to the very last i am captivated in the story, cannot believe how it ended on a cliffhanger, please buy this book it is amazing and melody Anne is now my favorite author out there.

About The Book

Arianna Harlow has a choice. Does she choose love or self-respect? Will she give up her freedom and become nothing but a shadow of herself?

This is the exciting sequel to the NYT’s and USA Today best-selling book Surrender. In Submit, Ari faces an impossible ultimatum. She needs to decide whether to accept Raffaelo Palazzo’s indecent proposal and stay at his side as his bought mistress, under his complete control in his world and in his bedroom. Rafe holds the keys to her mother’s happiness, and Ari must choose love for her mother or respect for herself and for the morals her mother instilled in her. You’ll find out that decision in this book and discover the unexpected repercussions of what Ari does choose.

In Surrender, we were also introduced to the dynamic story of Shane Grayson and Lia Palazzo. See where their story leads as the Surrender Series continues.

Watch as two strong, confident women make choices that will affect their lives forever.

Who will submit? Will it be the women or the men?
Natalie's Review

This is the second book in the series, and as the series goes on i think i loved it more and more,  there were a few serious situations involved in this book,  which made you feel like you had connected to the characters even more,  Ari is stronger she doesn't take any Crap from Rafe and is starting to stand on her own feet, although you can see how much she has fallen in love with Rafe,  i think what is lovely is that you see Rafe feels the same but doesn't quite know how to show how he feels.

When the story ends you feel like your heart is stuck in your throat i didn't want it to be over and was counting down the days until i could read Seduced
I love seeing these characters develop and grow, you feel like your spying into their lives

Another 5 Star review for me

Now we have Submitted its time to be Seduced

About The Book

At the end of Submit, Arianna Harlow had enough pride in herself to walk away from Rafe Palazzo, who had started their relationship using blackmail. Though she’d fallen in love with him, she was strong enough to say goodbye. We saw the softer side of Rafe, especially toward the end, but it was too late…

Or was it?

Seduced begins almost two years after Ari starts her new life. She is teaching at a community college, and when she asks the class whether they have any questions for her, Rafe is there and has only one: Will you go on a date with me?

What is Ari’s answer? You’ll find out in the third installment of Melody Anne’s New York Times best-selling series, Surrender.

Along with Ari’s story, we will see what happens when Shane and Lia become trapped together on an island when a tropical storm hits, and how the sparks will fly again.

And we can’t forget about Rachel Palazzo, who isn’t looking for love, but finds it in a shocking way.

This story continues the lives of Ari, Lia and Rachel. These three women are resilient, determined, and worth loving. The question is, whether the men in their lives strong enough to keep them.
Natalie's Review
What i love about this book is that the tides have turned and this time its Rafe's turn to seduce Ari,  he has to chase her and show her he has changed, i also loved the involvement of the other characters such as Rafe's sisters Lia and Rachel and his best friend Shane.  we also get introduced to Ian who is totally swoon worthy.
The story starts a year after Submit has ended Rafe is a changed man he has spent time away from ari trying to figure out the person that he wants to be and what he has decided is the person he needs to be is the one he is when he is with Ari and he will do anything to prove to her how much he has changed.
Shane and Lia are playing cat and mouse with each other and events arrise that force them together
Rachel also meets a hunky guy at the beach called Ian, who isnt quite all he seems
This book is more fast paced than the first two you go on one hell of a rollercoaster ride.
an amazing third book in the series,  left me feeling excited for the fourth book in the series which is due out 11/11/13
I give Seduced 5 swoon worthy stars AMAZING!!!

So now you have Surrendered, finally Submitted, Left Seduced now all you need is to be Scorched

Here is the Snippet we shared on the page

Desperately trying to calm herself, Rachel paced the huge room for the thousandth time, or at least what felt like it.
When she woke up a few hours before, she’d forgotten for a single moment where she was and had simply luxuriated in the comfortable bed, and in the fact that no nausea was assailing her for the moment.
Then it had all come back to her, and anger had quickly taken hold.
She was trapped in a gilded cage that was disguised as a large room, and there was nothing, absolutely nothing, she could do about it. Pounding on the doors, issuing threats, begging. None of it had worked. The men and women who had brought in food and drink had either not spoken English or Italian, or they just pretended they didn’t; no one would talk to her.
They simply smiled, offered her items, and then quickly scurried away. When she’d made an attempt to get past the guards — yes, actual guards — they had gently but firmly shut the twelve-foot-tall doors after mumbling something in French.
It was decided. She would have to murder Adriane.
Yes, she’d either be executed or spend the rest of her days in prison, but it would be well worth it. The man needed to be murdered. He was begging for it.
Furious with Adriane for bringing her here and then leaving her alone all day, Rachel looked around for possible weapons. But when she stopped and took a moment to think about her murderous intentions, she sagged against the couch.
Of course she wasn’t going to kill him. Now, throwing a glass at his head — that was a real possibility. He deserved to be hit. King or no king.
Rushing over to the closed and locked doors, Rachel raised her voice, yelling as loudly as possible. “I swear by all that’s holy, if you don’t get your worthless, kidnapping, traitorous king into this room right now, I’ll break every priceless thing in here! And I’ll start by smashing one of these vases over the head of the first person who comes in to try to calm me down!”
“The guards tend to frown upon visitors threatening their king. As a matter of fact, they like to throw said threateners into the dungeons for some much-needed attitude adjustments.”
With a gasp of shock and outrage combined, Rachel spun to her left to find Adriane standing in the middle of the room, looking far too smug and pleased for her satisfaction.
Chest heaving, she took a menacing step in his direction, her eyes darting to one of the crystal vases nearest to her.
“I wouldn’t advise that, Rachel,” he said with a twinkle in his eyes, as if he were enjoying her tantrum.
“Then you’d best talk fast, Adriane,” she snapped. “If you don’t set me free this instant, I will carry out on my promise and this room will look like a tornado has swept through it.”
“You are spectacular in anger, do you realize that?” he gasped as he met her halfway, then stopped, standing only a foot away.
Why didn’t he just say, “You’re pretty when you’re mad?” That was bad enough, but further anger fluttered through her at the attraction she felt toward this man, a man who had taken her basic rights away. How pathetic. All that she should have felt was rage, not even the barest inkling of lust. But with his dark eyes crinkled at the corners, and his smooth shirt molded to his perfect chest, she was having a difficult time not appreciating his beauty.
Currently those midnight eyes were gazing at her, and the heat coming from them was enough to singe her skin.
Putting her head down, Rachel inhaled, trying to get her temper and her hormones under control before she spoke again. Obviously it wasn’t going to do her any good to continue yelling at him, so it would be best if she tried another tactic. Maybe she could make him see reason.
Through gritted teeth, she began: “You bring me to your country and then I wake up and am left in this room for hours! Your loyal servants have tried to force-feed me all afternoon, but no one will speak to me, let me near a phone, or give me any answers. I’m getting more and more irritated by the minute, and according to your doctor, that’s a bad thing, so you need to back the hell off.”
Though she’d tried controlling her temper, she wasn’t doing too well. If she didn’t get to a phone soon, her fury was going to spike another few notches.
“I do apologize for not being here when you woke from your nap. I had some matters of state to attend to. It’s all been taken care of, so for the rest of the night, you have my undivided attention,” he said, as if that were something she wanted.
Rachel’s mouth hung open in surprise at his audacity.
“Are you expecting gratitude on my part that you are granting me — a measly peasant — your undivided attention? Are you kidding me, Adriane?” she snapped.
His carefree expression evaporated; his lips thinned and his dark eyes narrowed. King Adriane obviously didn’t like to be mocked or spoken back to. Well, too damn bad!
“You would be wise to try to hold your tongue instead of just letting any asinine statement pop from your beautiful lips,” he said as the corner of his lips creased upward while seemingly looking down at her in a sneering manner.
“That’s it,” Rachel snapped as she shot over to grab the vase. It was going straight for his head.
“I don’t think so, Rachel.” Adriane easily caught her and held her hands trapped against his chest as he pulled her against him.
She leaned her head back so she could glare fully into his eyes.
“I’ve had enough, Adriane. I mean it,” she warned, almost hyperventilating. She chose to believe it was fully from her temper and had nothing whatsoever to do with being pressed up tightly against his hard body.
“Oh, Rachel. You haven’t had nearly enough of me. I don’t think either of us can possibly get enough of each other,” he said, his tone silky smooth as he lowered his head a couple of inches, bringing his mouth just a centimeter from hers.
“Don’t you dare kiss me, Adriane. Believe me, you will regret it,” she warned, tugging against his hold.
Surprisingly he released her, and Rachel stumbled backward before catching her footing. She looked at him suspiciously before her eyes did a search of the room and she spotted a door that was cracked open — the secret door he must have snuck through.
“I wouldn’t try it. I’m not letting you leave.”
The foot that was lifting to make a run for it, dropped as she looked at him. “You can’t keep me prisoner, Adriane. I have family and friends who won’t stop until they see me safely home.”
“I’ve already spoken with your brother. We came to an…understanding,” he said with a slight wince.
“What do you mean?” she asked. Surely Rafe wouldn’t allow this to happen.
“We have a week to work out our differences before he storms the island with the United States military,” he said with a chuckle.
“What? He’s not coming to get me for a week?” Rachel gasped, feeling utterly betrayed.
“Don’t get me wrong, Rachel. It wasn’t easy to convince him that you were being well taken care of. He had to speak to my doctor, adviser and prime minister. It helped that both Ari and your sister felt we should try to work this out. I think I quite like them,” he said smugly.
“Those traitors,” Rachel gasped, looking around again for a phone.
When she spoke to her family, they were all in serious trouble. How dare they leave her with this pompous jerk of a man.
“I don’t believe you,” she said. It couldn’t be true.
“It really doesn’t matter. If you are still anti-marriage in one week, then it looks as if Corythia is going to war,” he stated matter-of-factly.
Rachel stared at him in horror before her eyes narrowed again. There was no way the country would go to war. Yes, there could be an international incident from it, but Corythia was small and this matter wouldn’t cause a war. Even if it did, they’d be wiped out instantly. Adriane wasn’t that stupid.
“I am not an uneducated woman, Adriane and I don’t appreciate you treating me as such. If you want a war, I sure as hell will give you one,” she promised with fire shooting from her eyes.
“I’m up for the challenge,” he said boldly, taking another step closer.
Three months ago, she hadn’t wanted to crawl from this man’s bed. Now, he had changed into a person she didn’t know. He was arrogant and mysterious, and he was holding her captive. Why was her stomach knotted with a strange desire? She should want to impale him with any sharp object that came to hand and flee his presence; to feel even the remotest form of passion for him was just bizarre.
Still, she was stuck here for the time being, with no idea where she was. Did she continue to fight him, or did she try to win her freedom back another way? She needed to think. Obviously she was all on her own.
That was a depressing thought.
“How do you think this can work, Adriane?” she asked. Maybe he’d see reason.
“I want it to work; therefore it will,” he stated firmly. He spoke as if his words were law. Of course, here in Corythia, his word probably was law.
“I have been raised in both Italy and America. I’m sorry, but I don’t allow dictators to tell me what to do. I make my own decisions. I certainly don’t marry a man because he demands it or tells me that’s the way it’s going to be. You will release me, and then, and only then, will I consider what I will do next. Right now, you aren’t gaining any points with me in the father department. I won’t be toyed with because I’m your living incubator. Do you understand me?”
Her breathing was heavy as she finished speaking. She’d wanted so badly to keep calm, but the more he looked down his arrogant nose at her, the more upset she became. He wasn’t listening to her words.
Sure, he was letting her speak, but he certainly wasn’t listening. He thought he was too important to listen to the peasant, obviously.
“Oh, Rachel, I am so grateful that if I am to have a child before I was ready to have one, it is with you. Never will I tire of your temper; never will I grow bored with you. Everyone all around me incessantly agrees with all I say. I need your dose of reality in my world,” he said with a smile.
Rachel’s face heated as he chuckled and bent down to pick up a glass and fill it with bourbon. He was seriously going to turn his attention from her while she was steaming mad, and laugh at her on top of it?
That was it. Rachel reached for the vase and threw it before she could convince herself it wasn’t the best idea. Right before it hit him, Adriane looked up, shocked.
Take that! Rachel thought before turning on her heels and running full speed toward the open door
