Hers by Dawn Robertson blog tour

I am weak.
I am lonely.
I am a slut.
I am strong.
I am Dominant.
I am independent.
I am Seven James.

My entire life, no one has wanted me, and that was fine, because I sure as shit didn't need anyone else. Blah, Blah Blah, insert sad story here about negligent parents, and shitty siblings, and you have my life story in a nut shell. When my college boyfriend dumped me, it was just icing on the cake. Five years, and a booming career later I am here to collect my revenge.

That was until a delicious plaything walked into the kink club I frequent, and rocked my typically un-rockable world. Causing me to break the one rule I have lived by since Daniel Alexander walked out of my life, never have sex with the same person twice. Ever.

Warning!!!! Hers contains sexually explicit situations that may be uncomfortable for some. These include FF, FMF, and MFM interactions.

Our lips collide in a frantic explosion of need. I don't know what he wants, but I haven't been laid in some time. If I don't get a dick inside me, I may spontaneously fucking combust.
The elevator comes to a halt, signaling the end of our journey. We hit the top floor of my building, which houses my penthouse.
“We're here,” I breathe into his ear as we fumble out of the elevator in each other’s arms. I pull out of his embrace. I need to distance myself for a minute to set a couple things straight.
He pauses and looks at me. The gorgeous blue eyes from earlier are gone; now they are dark, his pupils dilated as he watches every move I make.
“You may not have realized this in the club, and since you are new, I will give you the benefit of the doubt.” I take a few steps closer, my heels clicking loudly in the foyer, against the white tile floor, and then I closely lean in, brushing my lips against his ear. “I am not some hookup you can have your way with. In fact, it is quite the opposite, my love. You will submit to me tonight, or you will walk in that elevator, and out of my building now. Do you understand?”

Alicia's Review:

WOWWEEEEEE! Talk about hotness - this book is steaming, super sexy, hotness!

Seven is awesome. She's confident, sexy, powerful and a total bad-ass. After getting burned in a previous relationship with Daniel Alexander, she decides to take charge of her life by putting herself through college to start her own business and go for the ultimate revenge! Daniel doesn't know what's about to hit him!

Did I mention that she not only likes to be in charge in the boardroom but also the bedroom?

After finally getting to buy part of Daniel's father company she goes out to celebrate. Everything she's been working towards is coming together. She meets Levi and offers him a one night stand. He takes her up on that but one night isn't enough for him. He wants more. A lot more.

Okay so Levi is super sweet but his character goes from submissive to alpha every so often but he can't quite pull alpha off. Maybe it's because of the type of character Seven is. Everything is going well in Sevens plans for revenge until she walks into the boardroom and there sits Daniel and Levi... :/

I really enjoyed reading Hers. The characters are sweet. The sex is smoking and there is some good angst.

I give this book 4 stars.

About Dawn Robertson:

Dawn Robertson is a twenty-something indie erotic romance, and mother. She lives in sunny senior citizen packed Florida, where she wrangles her kids, and Pitbull puppy.

Dawn can normally be found swearing like a sailor, making late night drive-thru appearances, arguing with her kids (or being run over by their power wheels), reading a steamy romance while hiding in her bathroom, writing her little heart out on her laptop (or dragging her Macbook to the Genius bar praying they can save her latest work in progress), or sipping on a smoothie. She loves to hear from her fans, readers, and authors alike. Feel free to drop her a message.

Dawn rarely takes life seriously, so be sure to expect heavy sarcasm from her. She is also the life of the party, so be sure to meet up with her at one of the many author events she will be attending in the next couple months. Buy her a shot of whiskey, and she will love you for life
