About the Book

Alexia "Lexi" Hanson moved across the country to rebuild her life after the attack that almost destroyed her. She enjoys the simple things in her beach cottage. Life is finally complete.

Noah Matthews is Rock & Roll's hottest star and on top of the world. After years without a break he finds the solitude he craves at his beach house. Enjoying his early morning coffee, Noah is surprised to see his neighbour sneak into his garden and crawl around.

They never saw that fateful morning coming. Someone was watching them. Someone who thought Lexi belonged to him and would stop at nothing to have her.

Lives are changed forever when they meet amongst the blooms in his garden. Even when things seem darkest, there is always light After the Storm.

Amanda's Review

This book is a thrilling romance and is well written, the conversations flow and the characters are well developed.  I love the three old ladies Alexia is visiting in the books, and may even give me some ammo for when I am older, and needing to see the hot landscapers and plumbers (which in that case they aren't normally hot right?)

Alexia aka Lexi has moved to the beach after a horrible life changing experience, she was dating a serial killer, and he tried to kill her at one point.  She inherits her grandmother's beach home and moves there, only to find out that her neighbor is a rock star.

Noah is handsome and sexy, with tattoo's and all.  Noah wants to be with Lexi, but he knows there is something going on and he doesn't try to push her.  Well Lexi's thinking is that he wont be here but a few months and she doesn't do casual relationships.   As you watch their relationship grow and change there are thrillers all along the way, it keeps you turning the page.

I loved the romance aspect of the story.  The only thing I didn't like and I know it had to be there for the story to work, was the crazy killer man,  and reading what he was thinking.  I was disgusted and I know that is how it was meant to be.  Overall I think M. Stratton did an excellent job with the book. If your looking for a thriller, this is for you!

I rate this book 4 stars.
