Title: Worth the Fight
Author: Vi Keeland
Publication date: October 3, 2013
Summary: Standalone, HEA
It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.
Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.
Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

This book is fabulous. Nico and Elle can heal each others damaged soul if only they allow themselves to. I was hooked from page one and continued until the end without a break. I just couldn't put it down.
Elle is a brilliant character, she's an attorney that is a workaholic and thinks everything in her life is perfect until her casual partner brings a case to her involving Nico.
Nico 'The Lady Killer' Hunter is amazing. He's a tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter. He is swoon worthy but has a damaged soul. Who doesn't love that in a character? I know I do! An accident that he believes is all his fault leaves him empty inside until he meets, Elle. She is worth the fight to him. What he doesn't realise it that he's worth the fight too.
Together they become alive. Elle sees what she's been missing and Nico finds a person who can give him back everything he's taken from himself.
Their chemistry is fabulous. You can almost hear the sizzling when reading the hot love scenes. Its the perfect mix of tender and sweet, and passionate and erotic.
We get Worth The Fight from both, Nico and Elle's POV which helps feel both of their emotions. It lets us get into their heads to know why they're acting/doing what they're doing.
I loved the secondary characters about as much as I love Elle and Nico. They're all great together and each bring something different to the story.
The description on the action in fights blew me away. I could see it all in my mind and I was left on the edge of my seat. I felt all the emotions VI Keeland put into her characters.
I can't wait to read more work from VI Keeland.
5 fighting stars!!
Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting USA Today Best Selling smut author by night!
