Blog Tour - Plausibilaty Jettie Woodruff 18/10

Book synopsis:

If something is plausible, it's reasonable or believable. Giving a deceptive impression of truth and reliability at such an early age is certain to cause you to believe what isn’t real.

Aquilla Chavez was raised by a loving father, and a brother who may have loved her a little too much. Aquilla was spoiled, adored, bringing cheer when disaster threatened a family. She was exposed to a life of crime all while, lovingly being sheltered and protected from it.

Will she ever reclaim the one man who she believes to be the love of her life? She didn’t want to be where she was forced to be. She wanted nothing to do with the person she was involuntary turned into. Aquilla had one goal, one goal that would save her from the catastrophic life she was suddenly thrown into.

She had to find him. She had to try, or was this the plausibility of a life she was meant to have? Was the life she was torn form the disastrous life? Could this be where she was meant to be? How would she ever know? What if he found her? What if she never saw him again? What if….She didn’t want to?

Jennifer's Review

What do you do when your whole world turns upside down in an instant?

Aquilla Chavez(Quill)  lived a privileged but extremely sheltered life with her father and brother.  She knew that she was different them, with her blonde hair and bright blue eyes, but she still had a hard time understanding her growing feelings for Julius.  When she and Julius finally give in to their feelings and admit to one another that they are in love they think that everything is going to work out and they can live together happily, however fate has another plan for them.  Suddenly Quill is ripped away from the only family and life that she has ever known and has to learn how to be part of a life she had only ever imagined, only nothing is the way she imagined it.  Will the love that Quill and Julius share be strong enough to last and will they ever find one another again?

This book is packed with characters that you will fall in love with.  Quill is a strong, badass, young woman, but she also has a soft side and like most of us she just wants to love and be loved.  Julius……..Julius is hot, commanding, and unwavering in his love for Quill.  Seri is a badass who will do anything and everything for the people whom she loves.  She and Quill develope an instant bond that cannot be broken.  I would love to see a book just about Seri because she has an amazing story waiting to be told that we learn about through her conversations with Quill.

This book is full of emotions.  I love Jettie Woodruff’s style of writing.  I felt like I was right in the middle of everything with the characters.  I was able to picture the beautiful island where Quill and Julius grew up, the cabin by the lake, the junkyard and everything.  It was like watching a movie in my mind while reading a wonderful book.  I found myself laughing and crying right along with the characters, and the sex scenes were  HOT AS HELL!!!!!    After reading this I know that I will be looking for more books by Jettie Woodruff!    I give this book 5 STARS!!!!!!

Alicia's Review

Jettie Woodruff amazes me. The way her mind works to create these stories she shares with is is just boggling. Have you ever watched a fucked up movie and thought 'how the hell did they come up with this?'? Well Jettie does that to me. She is a dark/raw book genius!

I'm not doing the usual review. I am not telling you anything about the story as it's a must read and I don't want to give anything away. There is so many twists and turns that saying just one thing to you will ruin something in there for you.

The book is smoking HOT! You will need a change of panties once reading this book and maybe some tissues to wipe the drool from your mouth. Julian is one sexy domineering bastard!

I cried in this book a couple of times. That is one thing that Jettie manages to pull off with every book she writes, you will feel every raw emotion she writes into her characters. You'll feel pain, anger, happiness, sadness and just pure arousal lol.

I'm sat here thinking what to add to this review when all I want to do is shout from my rooftop 'GO BUY PLAUSIBILITY BY JETTIE WOODRUFF. GET READY TO HAVE YOUR MIND BLOWN TO SHIT!!' If you like dark, twisted stories with HEA's then get this book. I can't recommend this book enough. It's just fabulous!!

Quill is one badass that you need to meet. She is awesome but so are all the characters. You get to know them all pretty good and get inside their heads... yes all of them!

5 mind blowing stars!!

Author BIO

Jettie Woodruff is a practicing physician and has been a Civil War buff for decades. No. Not really, she is not a doctor nor is she a Civil War buff. She is however a goof-off and has a hard time being serious for too long.

She does enjoy a challenge when it comes to her writing. She feels as though she needs to pull every emotion possible from her readers. She wants you to be pissed off, questioning your sanity, depressed, happy, and hopefully turn your mind from wanting to cut the villain into tiny little pieces to loving him by the end of the book.

Underestimated was her first dark endeavor. It was a goal alongside of writing a series, a standalone romance, a young adult, which she can’t check that one off. She tried she really did, but her mind just doesn’t work outside the gutter and it quickly became rated X.

Jettie lives on 163 acres in a rural part of Ohio. She loves living in Ohio, except maybe the snow, and the long winters, maybe the hot summers too, Ah, hell, she hates Ohio. She does love the land and the solitude of the country. She just wishes it was in a geographically in a better part of the country.

Jettie has two grown children and one who will be eighteen in a matter of days. YES!!! She has also recently just had her first, cutest ever, most adorable, granddaughter in the whole world. Her oldest daughter just hit her with the news that she will be adding another grandchild to the family in February. Although she is sure she will fall in love with the little creature, she still can’t say the G word.

Jettie enjoys reading as much as she loves writing. She has way too many favorites to list, but one of her all-time favorites from years ago was the Casteel series from V.C. Andrews. One of her new favorites is C.J. Robert’s, Captive series. Reading it gave her that needed push that she required to say the hell with what people think and write Underestimated.

By day Jettie is wearing business attire and managing a mattress store. By night she is in front of a keyboard or her Kindle, wearing, well let’s not go there. Underestimated was her fifth book published. The first one was just shy of a disaster, not that it was a bad book. People liked it. She just knew nothing about it, no revising, no editing, just a spur of the moment…. “Oh, I wrote a book, lets publish it.” Train wreck and a half. Her Star series was one of her favorites and is held dear to her heart. She is now working on an adult romance that should be live around the end of August, early September. She can’t seem to stay focused on it at the moment, due to a much needed Bahamas vacation coming up with Adam Levine’s walking around half naked, buying her drinks.

When Aquilla was almost ten she sat on his bed and watched him primp in his mirror, getting ready for his first date. She sat cross legged on his bed, holding the doll and watched him fuss with his hair.
“There. How do I look?” he asked after the finishing touch from the diamond stud to his right ear.
“You look ugly,” she teased.
He tackled her to the mattress and tickled her until she couldn’t breathe.
“You’re pretty!” she screamed.
“Say I’m handsome,” he demanded, attacking her again.
“You’re pretty!” she screamed again.
“You’re a brat,” he countered, smacking her on the butt as his father came in.
“What are you two yelling about in here?” Romano asked, sitting beside of Aquilla. She scooted into his arm and he wrapped her up, kissing her head.
“Julius is going to kiss a girl,” she teased.
He turned from the mirror and pointed a straight finger at her. “You’re asking for it, little girl.” She giggled. He loved to hear her laugh. He could be pissed off at the world and her laughter would make him smile every time. He would probably never love a girl as much as he loved that little shit.
“Make sure you wrap it up,” Romano demanded.
“Wrap what up?” Nosey little Aquilla wanted to know.
“Wrap you up,” Romano lied. He shouldn’t have said that in front of her. He wasn’t ready to explain that one yet.
“Wrap what up, Julius?” she asked, turning to her brother. She wanted a straight answer. Did he buy her a present? What did he buy her?”
“A necklace,” he too lied, giving his father a dirty look. He wasn’t going there yet either. He was never going there. His father could have that job.
