Made From Greater Stone by RJ Simpkins
Ladies are you ready for a new book boyfriend? Well let me tell you a little something about Nathan Stone. He is sweet, hot, sexy, knows what he's doing in the bedroom, hot, likes to spoilt his lady of choice, domineering in the bedroom, hot, gorgeous, caring, kind and did I say hot? LOL
Hmmm Nathan Stone is just everything you could wish for wrapped up all in one with a nice little bow. He is perfect.
I do need to warn you, Nathan has his own group of Stone stalker ladies and they are ready to fight to keep him as their own. He has been claimed by them and they aren't too happy to share but there is definitely enough Stone to go around.
This book is based on Olivia aka Honey/Honey bee who is a burlesque dancer. She's just moved in with her best friend, Joseph, who also happened to be like a brother to her. She got a new job and met some amazingly loyal friends whom she works with.
Olivia bumps into Stone, literally bumps into him in a nightclub and spills drink all over him. He's snappy and gives her some attitude but when Olivia is in Honey mode she has plenty of confidence. She gives him what for causing him to smile.
They have more chance meetings and as usual for a drunken girl, one of the meetings is just as she's leaving the toilet in the nightclub. Her skirt is tucked in her thong so Nathan gets a clear view of her ass and her lily tattoo!! Talk about embarrassment.
As their relationship continues we get some of Nathan's POV chapters so we know how he feels about his honey bee. It's so easy to connect with both characters. It is something I need in a book to thoroughly enjoy a story.
Stone has a proposition for Olivia, he want her to private dance for him. Only him and he wants to pay her for it. Olivia is really attracted to him but there is no way she will take his money. She decides to see if he wants her as much as she wants him. It all goes balls up.
Stone has his own stalker. She's an ex. She's going to be trouble. I can see it happening already. Anyhow Portia tries to scare Olivia off Stone (that's my opinion anyway) by saying he'll use her and break her heart etc. Olivia decides to pull her big girl knickers up and brings out some honey attitude giving her back some shit.
I have so many favourite scenes in this book but let me tell you, once you've read it you won't look at chocolate spread and honey again in the same way. Hmmm holy hotness. The sex scenes are brilliant. Enough details to enjoy it and not too much to put you off.
The details in this book is brilliant. There is enough there for you to picture everything in your mind as if you are watching a movie without being over descriptive. The burlesque dance scenes are fantabulous. I've always found burlesque to be a beautiful art of dance and RJ Simpkins really does make it beautiful in her writing.
Overall I love this book and cannot wait for book two however I will warn you, there is a MASSIVE cliffhanger at the end!! I mean HUGE cliffhanger with a twist. A twist I worked out quite early on in the book but didn't actually know for sure until the end!
