Book Review Of Banished From Grace
Including Author Interview with Aria Williams

About The Book

Life should be easy for this attractive (not to mention, immortal) woman, but throw in two handsome men, a coffee addiction and memory loss that dates back to the medieval ages, and you've got a life that's more than complicated... Nardia is a very special nurse, one with a unique gift. With the touch of her bare hands, she can heal any physical ailment. With the help of her angel guide, Benilde, Nardia has healed her way through countless centuries. When she meets AJ at her favorite coffee shop, she can't help but feel an immediate attraction to him. At the same time, she knows there's more to his story than what he's letting on. And then there's the handsome Doctor Regan, who she feels a connection with, but is she trying to make it more than is really there in order to spare her the heartbreak of being with AJ? Only adding to her problems is the new resident, Dr. Jeffries, who seems out to get her from day one, and a murder case she can't help solve without revealing her own secrets. Can Nardia uncover the secrets of her own past while still moving forward and saving those in need of her help in the present?

Natalie's Review

WOW!! As soon as i started to read this book i couldnt put it down, i just wanted to read and read and read so thats what i did, I LOVE ARIA WILLIAMS i first met AJ in heavenly hell and while i thought that book was fab it was nothing compared to Banished From Grace, which had more of a grown up feel to it,  The story started with impact with Nardia sitting on a pregnant woman's chest doing compressions as she slowly lays dying, Nardia is immortal and a healer but she is usually given a sign from her guide angel Benilde who she must step in and save from death. This time there is nothing, except when the child is born he advises her she must save him (i think this will be explored more in future books).

After this tough day at work Nardia heads to her favorite coffee shop where she meats the gorgeous AJ,  she is instantly attracted to him and he makes her feel a way no human man has ever done before. The relationship between Nardia and AJ takes a few twists and turns and when you throw in a dishy doctor Nardia is torn with what to do. soon she find out AJ is not all that he seems and while trying to figure out her place.

The story is fab,  and the ending OH MY GOLLY GOSH i cant believe it ended like that, i need the next book right now

I give this book a massive 5***** it was Amazeballs

I grabbed for my phone, ready to call the police, when AJ walked up to the counter. Looking up in my direction, our gazes locked. My heart started to flutter rapidly and butterflies filled my stomach. We dangerously gazed at each other. The desire in his eyes was obvious, and his stare stopped all the fluttering in my stomach, but it was quickly replaced with a fever. The desire to kiss him was so strong, a tornado whipped around in my head, throwing out all sensible thought patterns.I touched the door. His strides were erratic as he moved toward me, and with one quick turn of the lock, he pulled me inside, sliding his lips onto mine. I met his lips with the same ferocious impact, parting my mouth, tangling his tongue with mine, and sending spikes of fire up my spine.
AJ’s hand went behind me, pulling the cord of the blinds closed. This desire was intense. I felt the softness of the corner chaise lounge against my back. I ripped off his shirt, trailing my hands up and down his back. I could feel how hard he was against my leg. My own shirt hugged his on the ground. Undoing his pants, I thought how they would complement the already growing pile. Before I could throw his pants, my own pair joined the pile. We only had our underwear on when AJ pulled back and lightly kissed my neck, slowly stroking my thigh. The whole mood had changed in seconds. His hands moved all over my body; stroking my face, over my collarbone and cupping my breasts. One hand had journeyed lower past my navel and was sending ripples of pleasure all through my body. His lips followed the same trail but stopped at one of my breasts, as his tongue moved in slow, circular movements around my nipple. I had never felt so alive; giving in to my desires awakened a fire aching to burn. His lips came back to my mouth as I moved my hand to his underwear and pushed them down as far as I could reach before taking my own off. I rolled him on top of me, taking him inside as he pushed against me. The match had been lit and was sweltering my insides. I moaned in ecstasy as he clenched my bum, rolling me over so I was lying on him. The sensations felt like static moving around my body. In a foreign language, AJ moaned a few words that were unfamiliar but sounded sweet. The contact of our bodies became intoxicating. Sometime later we were both near exhaustion. I had climaxed many times over, and his touch was becoming too sensitive to bear as he reached his own ending. Falling on the lounge next to me, AJ placed an arm around me, nuzzling deep into my neck. The snuggling made me sleepy. An hour later I woke, moved AJ’s arm to stumble over to my clothes and quietly walked out, grabbing Milla on the way. I marched home as fast as I could and slipped into my own bed. I had a very strange dream that night, about a girl I didn’t know, though she somehow seemed familiar.

Author Interview

If you could work with any author who would it be?
I would love to work with Philippa Gregory, the war of the roses has captivated me since reading the White Queen. Since than I have read everything I could find on that era and delved into other members lives who surrounded her.

Who is your favourite author and is you writing style similar to theirs?
My favourite author is Richelle Mead, I could compare myself to her or my writing style, she is just amazing.
What's your favorite part of a book?
My favourite part would be the first few pages, it really creates the scene for me.
When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning?
When I named Nardia and AJ from Banished from Grace, real
thought went into their true angel names. Their names in the book mean exactly the same as their gifts, that did some researching.
Who Are your target readers
My target audiences would most likely be ladies from 20 years of age to 40 years of age.
What are the major themes of your work
The major themes are angels but apart from that each series focus on different issues. Banished from Grace centres around love, forgiveness and taking chances. Heavenly hell presents women’s rights, equality and friendship.

Any recent works that you admire
I admire Hally Wilmott’s Awakenings, this storyline has a real thought provoking storyline.
What do you think people search for in a book
I think they want a struggle, self discovery and an accomplishment

How have your personal experiences affected your writing?
Personal experiences effects everything that I write, if Im annoyed I use that to put into my writing. If I have suffered some great issue I write about it.
What genre of books do you like to read?
I love to read historical fiction/non fiction, paranormal fiction and contemporary romance.
Were you always good at writing?
I question myself daily if Im good. Sometimes I write some real crap and other times poetic justice flows through my fingers.

How do you get started with writing a story (as in, how do you start developing the story, how do you get inspired for it)
Most times an idea comes to me and I start to write, than I develop the story around that.

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?
Go and find the thing that you enjoy the most after writing and do it. Mine is mowing the lawn or dancing with my daughters

If you had to compare yourself to a Character in any of your books, who would it be?
I would have to say that I am most like Nardia, except I obviously can’t heal. I feel real empathy for those who are sick and want to help everyone
