Blog Stop Review - He Belongs To Me - Theresa Rizzo

About The Book

He Belongs to Me is a love story . . . a tale of betrayal and deception and of a young mother's determination to recover what belongs to her.
Forced to leave her baby and tricked into relinquishing her parental rights, four years later Catherine Boyd is back and she'll do anything to regain custody of her son--even reconcile with the husband falsely accused of killing their son's twin.
All in the name of love for a little boy, generations of pain and tragedy are exposed in a courtroom drama.

Natalie's Review

OH my Golly Gosh,  This book was fab,  had you gripped from the very start, If you love books by Jodi Picoult, I think you will love this.  The issues that are dealt with in this book are dealt with amazing.

Catherine has just graduated college and is so happy that she will Finally be getting her son back who has been living with his grandparents,  however when it comes down to it they decide that they want to keep Drew with them, after a visit to a lawyer it seems Catherine has been tricked into signing all her parental rights to her parents.  With only one option left she has to go to her Husband Thomas, who she hasn't seen in four years after he was falsely accused of killing Their son Bobby.  To Thomas he has been none the wiser as he has always been under the impression that Catherine has had responsibility for Drew and it comes as a shock to find that he has been living with Catherine's parents.

The scenes that follow is the heartbreaking story of how Bobby dies,  a bitter coatroom custody fight and some unexpected surprises along with a few secrets.  Oh my god the ending, i was not expecting that and I'm usually quite good at guessing books, however this book was full of twist and turns I LOVED IT!!

I give this book a massive 5***** and i cannot wait to read more from this amazing Author
